Twitter Discovers Just How Gigantic The Deep Sea Phantom Jellyfish Is, And Their Reactions Are O-fish-ally Hilarious

Every once in a while, we see something online, and we find ourselves thinking that it's time to take a break, that it's time to get off social media and try focusing some more on the real world. And then, we see something else, and we are reminded of exactly why we choose to stay addicted to it. And animal twitter is, let's be honest, one of the main reasons that we stay. 

It's one thing to discover something cool online, it's another to do it and then see all of twitter's hilarious reactions to it. Like that time that twitter discovered the "happy banana" seal pose, or the time twitter found an animal whose mouth is longer than a human, and how about the time that twitter discovered the tiny but lethal Black-Footed cat. Life would not have been the same had we not been there to experience these moments with the other cray-cray people on the internet, and that's exactly what we felt when we came across the thread you're about to see.

    Okay, first of all, let us start by saying that this is one of the coolest, most amazing animals that we have ever seen, and we feel privileged to live in a world where technology is advanced enough that we were able to catch this incredible creature on camera.

    Second of all, we have to say that we agree with the people in this thread. While this is one of the coolest things that we have ever seen, we are also so heckin' unbelievably thankful that we will have absolutely zero contact with it in our lifetimes. Holy heck, the deep sea is spooky.

It's believed that they are one of the largest predatory invertebrates in the world.
